Mobility Builders develops the technology needed to build customized and cost-effective wheelchairs for people with disabilities in developing countries.

Mobility Builders vision is to:

• Utilize computer and information technology to spread access to appropriate assistive technology services as widely as possible within the developing world.

• Create a model for making these technologies availableto people with limited resources that is sustainable and scalable.

• Partner with assistive technology providers in developing countries and provide them with the technical, procedural, educational and financial supports for success.

• Ensure that our technologies and services are appropriately and affordably provided by our in-country partners to the people with disabilities they serve.

• Provide a high social return on investment for all our funders and partners.
